Collins Aerospace is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Engineering Technical Intern position in the Advanced Technology Communication and Navigation Systems (CNS) department. This position is targeted at an individual with interests in GNSS and non-GNSS navigation technologies, sensor fusion and developing leading edge navigation solutions.
We are seeking a systems/software engineering candidate with a strong background C/C++ or Matlab. Candidates must possess excellent problem solving abilities and a strong understanding of the engineering process. Programming experience in developing real time applications is a plus. Demonstrated interest in fusing platform navigation sensors is desirable.
Candidates will be expected to independently perform multiple tasks with support from a mentor. Candidates are expected to be adaptable to change, determined to accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions, enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
