We are currently searching for a Principal Project Manager – Finance Mission Systems to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA (1000).

Provides project management expertise by planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating Mission Systems Pricing department activities to achieve cost, schedule, and performance requirements. Focal point for process and tools integration of Mission Systems Pricing.
Interface with, direct and coordinate with the pricing and proposal teams that support the various locations of the Mission Systems portfolio.
Project accountability includes direction of pricing integration efforts. Directing, authorizing, and controlling pricing integration related efforts for the Mission Systems Pricing organization.
Lead and direct broad organizational projects for Mission Systems Pricing. Direct other focals points assigned to achieving pieces of the project. Champions change to align organization with department strategies.
Plan, organize and schedule project tasks.
Authorize, direct, coordinate, and status progress of integration efforts.
Achieve cost, schedule, and performance goals by providing leadership and direction of all project efforts.
Accountable for performance (in-house and other).
Problem anticipation and avoidance, revises project plans as permitted by policy and project requirements.
Demonstrates leadership skills.
Results oriented with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company and customers.
Ensures compliance with internal procedures and FAR/DFARS government regulations.
Contribute and support ongoing pricing department training.
Leads and participates in lean events.
This role requires significant travel to the various Mission Systems locations, at times up to 50%.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience
