Our Salon Consultants maximize sales by maintaining and expanding a customer base through market analysis, sales of approved beauty products, introducing new products and concepts, providing customer service, conducting product education and offering retail consulting services to professional beauty salons, schools and licensed stylists.

In order to provide such products and services to our customers, we need a committed Sales Representatives to Join Our Team! This sales position plays a vital role in assisting Id Hair North America customers in a sales territory.

Responsibilities:

Business to Business Sales Representative responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop sales, marketing, promotion and education plans by product and concept based on customer history
  • Responsible for the service, sales development and accounts receivable of all salons
  • Utilize sales cold-calling techniques to generate new customers
  • Service and support salons, developing long-term relationships and working with owners, managers and stylists
  • Show and place exciting new products and promotions
  • Support sales through education, promotional events and merchandising
  • Enter customer orders
  • We are looking for individuals who approach Sales utilizing a Consultative approach and focus on offering solutions to problems, not simply selling a product or promotion.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years previous outside sales experience in the sales of both tangible products and associated services preferred but not necessary.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with Business to Business Sales preferred but not necessary
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation as position requires considerable amount of driving
  • Computer literate, preferably Windows-based programs for laptop/ipad order entry, email, Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Working knowledge of retail sales, inventory control systems and visual sales merchandising is strongly preferred
  • Must be able and willing to travel to Central Illinois once a month for monthly Sales Meetings and required training.

Other Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter
  • Highly organized and experienced in working independently
  • Capable of effectively and comfortably speaking before large groups of people
  • Cosmetology license or Beauty Industry experience helpful

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: $30,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
