Job Description:

  • Can work from immature documentation, often depended on to refine and maintain drawings.

  • Considerable knowledge of assembly involved in production processes.

  • Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.

  • Understands implications of work and makes solution recommendations.

  • Determines methods & procedures on new assignments.

  • Acts as informal leader/mentor.

  • Capable of conducting quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications.

  • Natural liaison in the handoff of product to production. They can support all facets of this operation including training, quality issues, written instructions, and proper processes.

  • Attain inspection stamp & accept responsibility for inspecting various assemblies.


Qualifications:

This position requires either:

  • An AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 10 years of relevant experience is required OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic & extended soldering, assembly and debug skills.

  • Ability to read schematics

  • Exceptional working knowledge of quality workmanship standards.

  • Ability to use various equipment to increase knowledge and skills, Including ICR, BGA machine, hot air removal and assembly of parts.

  • Ability to coordinate workflow with the team and customer

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Lead Free soldering knowledge, preferred
