To The Rescue
The job coach assists clients to be successful in a vocational setting by providing effective direction, instruction, and guidance. The job coach is the intermediary facilitator who helps optimize social interaction and productivity so that all our clients, co-workers at the job site, and employers all receive maximum benefit.
What will be doing as a Job Coach?
Adheres to and upholds To The Rescue’s values and policies.
Maintains effective relationships with clients, focusing on the client’s goals.
Maintains positive relationships with referral agencies, clients, employers and employees.
Enhances client’s vocational experience by providing effective instruction, guidance, and support.
Reports concerns to Vocational Services Manager and proposes solutions to improve experience.
Monitors and evaluates client’s progress toward employment goal.
Documents client’s activities and progress.
Identifies safety concerns and implements good safety practices.
Represents To The Rescue in a positive and professional manner to all clients, coworkers, families and the public.
Completes training in a timely manner.
Keeps management informed about important information in the community and with the client.
Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed.
Establishes the schedule and plans work assignments.
Communicates effectively with staff.
What skills and competencies do I need to be successful at this position?

4. Diplomatic attitude that serves customer and client needs.
5. Microsoft Office that includes Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn computer programs for scheduling and timekeeping.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
