Investment Analyst – Trade Operations – Aegon AM – Aegon – Cedar Rapids, IA

• Confirming/Settling trades with counterparties/custodians, working with the Front Office as needed
• Daily collateral management process support
• Solving problems by communicating issues to team members, Front Office, Client Services, custodians, and other impacted parties
• Collaborate with a variety of internal and external parties to understand customer needs and ensure positive outcomes for our clients.
• Continuous review of current processes to seek and implement efficiencies and process improvements
• Partner with Client Reporting to provide accurate and timely trade and position data to clients
• Daily publishing and reconciliation of cash/currency balances on Aladdin
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies by working with banks and other groups within Asset Operations

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field
• Two years of experience in the finance services industry or technical analysis
• Strong customer service skills to anticipate and proactively address customer needs to ensure positive outcomes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency using MS Office
• Analytical, problem recognition and resolution, and communication skills.
• Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field
• Up to two years of experience in the finance services industry or technical analysis
• Proficiency using MS Office

• Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access)
• Previous experience with fixed income and/or derivative instruments
