Serves as customer liaison for assigned customers, managing all elements of customer relationship activities. Has direct responsibility for customer metrics such as capture rate, sales, on time delivery and customer acceptance/satisfaction. This role directly affects the relationship between the company and the customer.
Serves as customer liaison for assigned customers, managing all elements of customer relationship activities. Has direct responsibility for customer metrics such as sales, on time delivery and customer acceptance/satisfaction. May be responsible to prepare proposals and negotiate contracts for programs that are primarily hardware with a limited amount of non-recurring effort. This role directly affects the relationship between the company and the customer.
Responds to customer requests for quote via phone & email
Negotiates and closes sales. May recommend and negotiate fees as appropriate to balance internal costs vs. customer satisfaction
Proactively follows up on significant opportunities in an effort to foster relationships and discover the price to win
Produces thorough and complete outputs against established standard work practices to ensure data integrity
Works to continually develop an understanding of market dynamics and their effect on customer purchasing decisions.
Validates customer purchase orders against standard requirements and terms dictated within the customer quote
Work with appropriate functions within the company to understand market pricing and achieve delivery lead times to satisfy customer’s requirements. This includes utilizing an established network of internal and external contacts to generate business and ensure customer satisfaction.
Interacts with customer prior to and/or after sale, developing and maintaining positive partner relationships. Aware of customers business and operating environment. Begins to recognize add-on growth opportunities for assigned accounts. Proactively gathers customer information, assures timely response to requests, develops solution to customer specific issues.
Will develop and deliver customer presentations, representing Intertrade in customer visits and tradeshows.
Sales & Negotiating Experience2+ years experience in aviation used serviceable aftermarketExceptional oral and written communication skillsAbility to provide timely and exceptional customer serviceAbility to work in a team environment backing up and assisting othersExperience in Quantum aviation aftermarket softwareAbility to travel up to 10% of a work year
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience
