This position is for a Legal Support Coordinator in Mission Systems Contracts supporting the DLA business. Responsible for the creation and administration
of DLA sales orders activities, related information and processes from receipt of a request for quote through DD250 delivery, closeout and archive of sales order.
Performs in a self-directed environment, making decisions that affect sales, profit, and on-time delivery performance within Contracts.
Accurately enters data into SAP through the Sales & Distribution module and where required entry into Wide Area Workflow for DCMA shipment approval.
Manage on-going changes and associated SAP sales orders
Monitors SAP shipping, inventory and billing reports and takes the appropriate actions to resolve discrepancies within assigned tasks.
Duties are moderately complex and detailed, requiring knowledge of contract and purchase order structures, customer requirements, invoicing, and quality processes.
Strong PC skills are necessary
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of sources within the company and with customers is required.
Candidates for this role should possess a HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
In the absence of a HS diploma, GED, AA/AS Degree, 6 years of relevant experience are required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
US Government contract experience is preferred
History of implementing and supporting customer relationship building
General working knowledge of Collins’ product and service portfolio is beneficial
Bachelor’s degree in a business oriented program
