Inclusive ICR coalition members consistently note the value of exchanging practices with peers who share the same passion for D&I and the betterment of the community. Members of the coalition typically serve in a human resource, recruiter, or diversity specialist role within their company or represent an organization engaged in diversity and inclusion goals. However, everyone is welcome to join our coalition!
The coalition meets quarterly to share progress on Inclusive ICR strategies and learn from one another and invited speakers. We ask that all coalition members approach each interaction with an open-mind and show respect for the varying perspectives and opinions of peers in the group. We aim to create a safe space at each of our events, and we rely heavily on our members to ensure this is a consistent theme in all we do.
While there are no fees to join Inclusive ICR, we encourage all coalition members to attend quarterly gatherings, join one of our committees to help us move our strategies forward, sponsor an Inclusive ICR event or initiative, and become a member or investor in the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance or the Iowa City Area Development Group. Through active participation, our coalition members illustrate their support and dedication towards promoting inclusion in our workplaces and the community, and help us pursue a more Inclusive ICR!
